Enjoy a memorable day on board ‘The Statesman’ as we travel from your local station for a journey through the heart of England to Windsor & Eton Riverside Station, which as the name suggests is right by the river and only a short walking distance to all the attractions.
Royal Windsor has so much to offer with all attractions within easy walking distance ranging from the imposing castle, being the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world and has been the family home of British Kings & Queens for 1,000 years and is well worth a visit. There are also lovely riverside walks, beautiful gardens, open top bus tours, regular riverboat cruises and a bustling and historic town centre with numerous cafes, bars, restaurants, and designer shops.
Perhaps cross the bridge over the River Thames and take a walk-up historic Eton High Street to visit the stunning old college where Prince William went to school. There should be around 3 hours available to enjoy this wonderful location before our train returns in the late afternoon.
