Our train travels through beautiful Somerset before passing historic Exeter with spectacular views across the River Exe as we follow the coastline and dash through cuttings of red rock and around the sea wall at Dawlish prior to climbing the Devon banks with views of Dartmoor, then into Cornwall over Brunel’s famous Royal Albert Bridge, continuing through the county town of Truro and around Mounts Bay to the most westerly station in England at the seafaring town of Penzance for an arrival around 18.00 with road coach connections to the hotels.

A road coach tour to two of the most spectacular garden experiences – Trebah is a sub-tropical paradise with a stunning coastal backdrop a result of 175 years of creation and in the spring, it comes alive with a colourful array of rhododendrons, magnolias and camellias. We continue by coach to the amazing Trelissick Estate with glorious gardens and summerhouses enjoying panoramic views over the Fal estuary.
